It is a common misconception that the best motor racing driver wins all the races. Unfortunately, it's never that simple. The driver, the car, the chief engineer, the mechanics, and the pit crew must all be working at their peak performance.
Similarly, you may not think that the performance dynamics of Top Teams in the corporate world are comparable to motor racing teams - but they are! And often, the relationships in the boardroom are even more complex.

When we think of the word "health" we may also think of "happiness". And from happiness it is a short leap of the imagination to song and celebration. And just as happiness can lead to song, so also can singing can chase away the blues at the beginning, middle or the end of the day, writes Alan Mars. It re-establishes a full, easy pattern of breathing and encourages release of the muscular system, with all the attendant benefits of stress alleviation. It is a way of expressing your feelings and of linking up with other people and the world around you.

Di Kamp is passionate about using NLP in business. She writes: NLP is desperately needed in business. It provides the wherewithal to truly empower people and transform the way in which people work.
I have witnessed many miraculous transformations: lousy managers into effective leaders; malfunctioning teams into productive and co-operative teams; poor individual performers into useful team members; miserable devils into positive individuals. This is not through my skills. It is through the magic of NLP, translated into something which ordinary people can understand, relate to, and use.
